Private

If your profile is set to Private, your profile is not visible to other KoCep members or to the public.

Private profiles do not participate in KoCep's matching features and will not be considered for collaborator matching while the profile remains private.

KoCep Members

If your profile is set to KoCep Members, your profile is visible to users who are signed in to a KoCep account.

Your profile may participate in KoCep's matching features and may be shown or recommended to other KoCep members as a potential collaborator.

Public

If your profile is set to Public, your profile may be visible to anyone, including people who are not signed in to KoCep and people who do not have a KoCep account.

Your profile may also participate in KoCep's matching features and may be shown or recommended as a potential collaborator.

Your Visibility Choices

The information visible to others depends on the information you choose to include in your profile and the visibility setting you select.

You can change your profile visibility through your account settings. Changing your visibility setting affects who can access your profile and whether your profile participates in KoCep's matching features.

We encourage you to review your profile before changing its visibility and avoid including information that you do not want others to see.

KoCep may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence and related technologies, to support features such as collaborator matching, recommendations, search, and other platform functionality.

Information you provide, such as your skills, education, interests, experience, availability, collaboration preferences, general location, resume information, searches, or prompts, may be processed when necessary to provide these features.

Certain AI-powered functionality may be supported by third-party technology providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), and Voyage AI.

The information processed by a particular provider depends on the KoCep feature being used and how that service is integrated into our platform.

Matches and recommendations provided by KoCep are intended to assist users in discovering potential collaborators or opportunities. They do not guarantee compatibility, suitability, availability, or the success of any collaboration.
